About me
I am a fabric and quilt designer who adores homemade bread and pasta, and cherishes fun activities with my children and grandkids.
My love for sewing was instilled by my granny, who taught me the craft as a child. My sewing journey began with creating clothing.
In my 40s, I discovered the world of quilting and was instantly captivated. I soon realised that, unlike garment sewing, patchwork demanded meticulous accuracy. Curved seams in particular gave results that didn't quite live up to my expectations, but I was determined to conquer the skill.
Through persistent investigation and practice, I uncovered the sources of the most common mistakes in curve sewing and learned how to avoid them.
By now I am a very experienced quilter and I travel the world sharing my expertise and teaching others how to create quilts they are truly proud of.
