DISSOLVE – Modern Quilt with a Dissolving Effect
In this two-day workshop with Brigitte Heitland (Zen Chic), you’ll create the DISSOLVE lap quilt (approx. 61” × 61”) using Foundation Paper Piecing and a clear plan. You’ll learn how to arrange values so that 81 blocks merge into a circular illusion, and why precision in paper piecing makes all the difference. Graphic, meditative, and seriously impressive.

The Setting
This two-day workshop takes place at The Quilt Crossing in Boise, Idaho. With two full days together, we’ll have time to work through the Foundation Paper Piecing technique, block construction, value placement, and assembly step by step.
