Four new patterns to go with a beautiful, fresh fabric collection!
The BREEZE fabric collection is hitting stores this month, and what better way to celebrate the release of this fresh new series of fabrics than with four exciting new patterns…
This youthful, airy fabric collection brings together the inspiration of the azure tones of the sea with the cool, rebel-inspired look of sashiko denim. The patterns I’ve designed to showcase this crisp, dynamic collection all offer a unique opportunity to bring these fabrics together in captivating and stunning style.
The Blue Labyrinth pattern is a modern variation of a classic log cabin quilt. This intermediate-level quilt displays an innovative design of interlocking squares in a rhythm of blue and white, creating a labyrinth of interlacing shapes.
For this pattern I used – among the BREEZE series fabrics – some low volume fabrics and a little bit of denim. This quilt design makes an engaging and striking addition to any space!
With this one-of-a-kind quilt design, you’ll get to practice your skills of sewing curved seams. This is really very simple as the blocks for this pattern are quite large and the curves of this strolling, rolling design are gentle.
Groovin’s playful swinging curves are a perfect way to display the beautiful tones of BREEZE against a backdrop of low volume fabrics. This is a fantastic intermediate-level quilt that brings a fun joy to the space around it!
This fresh, youthful quilt pattern uses a jelly roll as a starter. Its unique, eye-catching shapes are arranged in a playful rhythm on a deep blue background that makes the flowing hues of the BREEZE collection stand out beautifully.
The horizontally-placed shapes of the London Blues pattern are machine appliquéd onto its denim background. This quilt can be created fairly quickly, and the machine appliqué technique is easy to learn.
This beginner-friendly quilt pattern makes use of just one charm pack displayed on a denim background. The playful swatches of fabric arranged neatly on a denim backdrop, along with the rough hand-stitching, create a crisp, graphic dynamic and deliver a more casual style. This is a fun project that can easily be done in one weekend!
