Guess what? I swapped my fabric scissors for a passport and embarked on an adventure to Bali! It was time to meet my son, Ben, after his year-long travel saga, and what better rendezvous spot than the enchanting island of Bali!

Initially, Bali felt as foreign as a new quilting technique - exciting but a tad intimidating. But hey, isn't life all about embracing new patterns? So, I took the plunge, and Bali unfolded its wonders.

Bali isn't just a place; it's a mosaic of experiences! We zipped around on scooters, savoring every moment like a delightful new recipe. Each day was a fresh page in our travel diary, filled with unique adventures.🌟
Crafting Memories: Silver and Spice
Our time in Bali was dotted with memorable activities. We dived into a Silversmithing class, crafting beauty out of raw silver. Then, there was the Balinese cooking class, stirring up a storm of flavors and fun!
Nature's Canvas
From the serene rice fields to the majestic sunrise at Mount Batur, Bali's natural beauty was awe-inspiring. Each scenic view was like a masterpiece, painting our days with strokes of green, blue, and golden hues.
Living Like Royalty in Lombok
Our stay in the luxurious Oberoi Lombok hotel was the crown jewel of the trip. Surrounded by opulence, we indulged in a taste of the high life - a little extravagance does the soul good! 😄
Bringing Bali Home
