Last week we worked on Block 27. This week’s block pattern in our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) project is hosted by Barbara and Mary from Me and My Sister Designs and dates back to the mid-nineteenth century. It is indeed a very traditional block. Barb and Mary at the contrary are two modern and fresh girls, designing fabric lines in bright and youthful colors. You should definitely hop over to their blog to see, how they interpreted this block. The two girls are also the most comical designers of our Moda team you can imagine. They can make me laughing so hard, I get tears rolling down my cheeks. Look at their video, when they had a serious frog surgery. BTW you can also consider using the central square to fussy cut a specific fabric you wanna showcase.
