BIRD AND BASKET
Last week we worked on Block 46 in our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) mutual sew along. The block of this week is a bit unusual for me: It is a kind of Folk Art Appliqué, which I myself don’t use in my quilt designs. But I think it has a good place in the complete sampler quilt. The only thing is: I don’t like hand appliqué. I am not very skilled in this technique, so I prefer the look of a rough machine stitched outline.
