Last week we worked on Block 47 in our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) mutual sew along. This week we present Block 48, hosted by Laurie Simpson. Like last week we have again a traditional appliquéd quilt block as Laurie loves to create. Look at her beautiful antique styled Sampler Quilt with their typical patriotic color scheme.
I kept my version of this block simple and used machine appliqué, in a kind of folk art style.
